VT Team Launches ali: The 911 Compliance Solution for Amazon Connect

VT Team is proud to announce the launch of ali, an innovative compliance tool designed specifically for Amazon Connect to ensure 911 compliance with federal regulation RAY BAUM's Act (47 CFR § 9.3.) by providing a dispatchable location for each agent, no matter their location. ali ensures that contact center agents can easily communicate their exact location to emergency services, improving response times and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

In today’s fast-paced contact center environment, where agent safety and efficient communication are critical, ali provides a vital solution. By allowing agents to select their current work location – including floor and desk numbers – Ali automatically transmits this data to emergency dispatch centers in the event of a 911 call. This feature significantly improves the accuracy of emergency responses, helping first responders quickly and precisely locate agents in need.

  • Supervisor-defined Office Locations: Supervisors and managers can define and manage available office locations, ensuring agents always have the correct corporate addresses.
  • Real-time Emergency Communication: In the event of a 911 call, ali instantly sends critical location details (including floor and desk numbers) to emergency dispatchers, reducing response time and increasing safety. Remote agents can also provide their local address, validated with an Address Lookup service.
  • User-friendly Interface: Designed with agent safety in mind, ali features an intuitive interface that simplifies location selection, making compliance with safety regulations easy and stress-free.
